Little Stories Debut Release December 13th!

Joe Lovano:
"Mr. Slavov is among the most talented and creative musicians I have come across. . . His contribution to my Quartet and my US Five quintet is at the highest level. . . "

"Little Stories is the debut album by Grammy®-nominated bassist and composer Peter Slavov, known for his work with Joe Lovano, Quincy Jones, Alfredo Rodriguez, George Garzone and many others. Little Stories is a concept album: each composition is accompanied by a short printed one-paragraph story that explains the inspiration behind the music, and/or the meaning of the title.

The music was recorded by a core band enhanced on different tracks with strings, voice, acoustic guitar and bass clarinet. All the music was written and arranged by Peter Slavov and is a collection of material written over the past 20 years.
The cover art is by acclaimed Chilean artist Maria Jose Concha and was inspired by the music." - Peter Slavov
